Ky-An's Follow up

Ky-An had his follow up to his ear infection today and also his flu shot. I was worry about his flu shot and wanted to take him so I can comfort him. Hieu insist on going and said he can handle it. Much to my relief, the pediatrician gave him the mist, much to my relief, instead of the shot so no crying. Hieu said he just looked a little surprise that they squirty something in his nose. I asked him if what did he get at the doctor's office today. He motion the squirting and said "up my nose and it smell good".

Ky-An has this gift where whomever is around him just adores him. He has great charm and charisma. Our pediatrician not immune to this and loves it when Ky-An has an office visit. Yesterday he asked Ky-An if he knows who Scooby Doo is? Ky-An replied "I know Scooby Doo the brown dog. I show you!" He then ran to the book shelf in the examination room and dig through all the books until he found Scooby Doo. Dr. Y complimented him and told us he will do well in school because he communicates very well.

Ai-Vy's 14 months Checkup

Hieu and I are on vacation this week and where going to have a Date Day until I got a phone call from the pediatrician reminding me that Ai-Vy has her checkup.

We took Ky-An with us because we were going to drop them off at the babysitter's and have lunch, then go home and clean up because our house is a mess from the holidays.  We waited in the waiting room for so long.  Her appointment was at 9:30 and we didn't get to leave until 11:30!  Luckily Hieu took Ky-An and got some food from the deli to feed them.

Ai-Vy skipped her morning nap so was very cranky by the time our pediatrician sees her.  She started wailing as soon I lay her down so the nurse can weigh her.  She screamed so much that poor Ky-An wiggled out of Hieu's lap, ran up to the nurse and screamed "NOOOO!!!!"  It's very sweet with him but it doesn't help the situation at the time.  She has to get 3 shots this day and it was heartbreaking for me.  She has 1/2 of the flu shot and 2 other ones.  I held her down and watch as the nurse poked her with the needle.  It's the first time I actually watch the nurse give the shot to my kids so I don't know if it's just worst than it is.  It looks so painful and the look that Ai-Vy gives me as she cries just kill me.  I was very glad when it's all over.  Her statistics are as follow:

Weight: 24lbs 6oz at 75%
Height: 31.5 inches at 75%
Temperature: 97.7
Head circumference:  19 inches at 95%.

Her head doesn't look that big so I don't know why it was measure so large.  The doctor was shock that he had to measure it again.  Oh well, it just means she has more room for her brain and that she's going to be supper smart.  Both of my kids have big heads for some reason. ^_^

Ai-Vy's 9 Month check-up

Ai-Vy had her 9 months check-up and everything is good with her. Here are her stats:
  • Weight: 22 pounds 8 ounces at 95%

  • Height: 28 inches at 75% (she's gonna be shorter than Ky-An)

  • Head: 18 inches at 90%

I decide to prove to Hieu, but more to myself, that I can take care of two kids so I took both kids with me to the doctor's appointment. I packed their bags the night before and I thought I was prepared for the trip but soon found out I wasn't. First the appointment was at 9 so I didn't have much time to feed Ky-An his breakfast. I packed some dry cereal and figure that was good enough. I packed a bottle for Ai-Vy and water for both but no milk for Ky-An because I didn't think we were going to be there that long. You can see there was already 2 mistakes there.

I got them to the doctor's office with no problem. I tried to give Ky-An the cereal in the waiting room but he didn't want any of it. He started to get whiney and they put on "A Bug's Life" which he loved. He got mad when we had to go into the room with Ai-Vy and keep asking to see "grasshopper". Mistake number 3 is that you shouldn't take a toddler to a doctor's office unless he has to. He was so bored and didn't want to be cooped up in the room while we waited for the doctor. I had to keep him entertained and couldn't give all my attention to little Ai-Vy. She had to get 2 shots this visit because she was behind from her 6 months. On top of that, they wanted to collect her urine sample for testing so she had a bag taped to her privates. Then they had to get a blood sample so the poke her little finger and squeeze out blood to the little test tube. She was screaming her little head off and Ky-An was acting up plus . Ai-Vy also missed her morning nap so she was not a happy camper on top of things. I was not giving neither enough attention and I felt so bad.

After being their for over an hour and Ky-An has had it with the doctor's office. Ai-vy still hasn't urinate to her sample bag and she wanted out of there also. The nurse told me that they can collect her urine sample at another time if I'd like so I agreed to do that. The bag is taped on to Ai-Vy and she proceed to YANK the bag from her. I can see Ai-Vy's skin being pulled and she was screaming. If that nurse has yank it anymore, I think some skin would've come off. I was distracted with Ky-An but turned around just in time to see that and yell for the nurse to stop. She then put some cream on and took off the bag with ease. I asked her if there was any skin taken off and she was like "oh no, it's just tape." SHEESH, how did she get to be a nurse at a pediatrician's office??!!! If Ai-Vy's skin was irritated or taken off, I would've complain big time!! I was so mad at her but wanted to out of there ASAP so I just let it drop.

I got them in the car and it's about 10:30 a.m., almost lunch time for Ky-An and he didn't have a good breakfast. He whines for milk in the car but I didn't pack any because I didn't think we were going to be at the doctor's for 2 hours!!! I felt so bad as I dropped him off at the babysitter's hungry and wanting some milk. Poor Ai-Vy conked out in the car and stayed asleep as I dropped her off. I felt bad that I couldn't stay home with her and shower her with attention as I did with Ky-An after each of his shots.

Overall the trip with both kids is not successful. I expect it to get easier as I get more used to it and as they get older. Today, I still feel guilty on my lack of attention to each of them. Everytime I have an off Friday I have to fight through the guilt of what to do with my day and who the spend it with. I keep thinking about how I need to run errands but I should spend more time with Ky-An since he doesn't get much attention whenever Ai-Vy is home. However, if I come to pick Ky-An up early from the babysitter, the guilt of leaving Ai-Vy there is just unbearable. She's at a clingy stage and I know she would love to be with mommy also. If I stay home with Ai-Vy and drop Ky-An off that wouldn't be fair either. I just think of him walking around the babysitter's house asking for me and his little sister and it kills me.

I also thought of keeping them both at home but then I worry who would watch Ky-An when I put Ai-Vy to sleep. I worry that he'll get in trouble or go looking for me when I am in the room with Ai-Vy. In addition, he'll be bored at home with me because I can't take him to do anything fun as Ai-Vy naps. Argghh..tooo much things to worry about and I never stop feeling guilty whatever I do. I feel like such a failure as a mom when I thought about how other stay-at-home mos do this everday.

Hieu always encourage me to get some rest and run my personal errands on my day off so I can be with the kids in the weekend. It is nice to have a day to myself twice a month to run errands such as grocery shopping, doctor's visit, haircut, etc. I always try to get them done so I can pick the kids up early but the day just went by so quickly! I run 2 or 3 errands and it's almost 4 p.m. I hope things will get better but I am not sure if this guilt will ever go away!

The kiddos are sick..again!

Well I found out why Ai-Vy and Ky-An was torturing me at night. The poor babies are sick and have a slight fever. Ky-An caught it first but he seem to battle it okay. His fever was mild and it didn't keep him from being his active little self. Ai-Vy caught it a little worst and had a fever of 101. She was up most of the night because she wasn't feeling well so I stayed home with her on Wednesday. Poor Ky-An is also a little sick but couldn't stay home with me and was whining for me. I felt horrible about it but I know Ai-Vy would be demanding all day and that our babysitter would take good care of him. I always battle the biggest guilt trip whenever I am home but he has to go to the babysitter's....*sigh*.

Ai-Vy was suppose to go back the pediatrician for her second set of shots on Thursday but her fever climbed to 101 so they had her come in for a checkup instead. Her fever was down to 99 when we got there and they took a little blood to test if the infection is viral or bacterial. I was expecting her to scream whenever the prick her finger but she just calmly look at the nurse and then at her hand like "what's going on here?" The pediatrician showed me the result of the test and it's kind of neat. On the test it said what her white blood cell level is and what the normal range would be. If it's higher than the normal range then it confirms she is fighting an infection. They then break down whether those white blood cells are viral or bacterial and can tell what kind of infection she has from that. Luckily she only has a viral infection so no antibiotics! Yeah!

I had to battle to give her medicine the entire 3 days I stayed home with her. The doctor suggest suppositories but I am not too keen on the idea and wanted to use it as the last resort. I can't tell you how many times we had to change the sheets or her clothes these past few days though. This girl has the most sensitive gag reflex I've ever seen. As soon as the medicine touch her toungue, she gags and throws up. What I have to do was wait until she's in deep sleep and I armed myself with 2 dispensers (one of medicine and one of water). I would quickly inject the medicine to the back of her throat aiming the dispenser toward her cheeks so she won't choke. Before she has the chance to gag, I have to quickly inject the water in her mouth so she won't gag on the medicine taste. Even this process is not full-proof. I just hope she gets better soon. It's so hard to see your baby being sick and has that glazed look in her eyes.

Ai-Vy's 6 months checkup

Ai-Vy went in for her checkup when she was 6 month and 3 weeks old. I had a re-schedule the appointment because I had a conference call I couldn't move. She is now 20 pounds (big enough to face front!), 27.5 inches in weight, and head measure at 17.5 inches. Her statistics are 95% for weight, 95% for height, and 90% for head. She's a big girl but at least she's proportional..hehe. She is still smaller than Ky-An at this age though.

She was suppose to get 4 shots at this visit and I felt like it's too much for her at one time so I asked them to separate it. My pediatrican was okay with it and made me another appointment for her next week. I was thinking to myself, of course you are okay with it. I have to pay for 2 visits!!! Just kidding. I am glad that she was able to separate out her shots though. The poor girl cried as soon as I laid her down to be weighed. I don't know if she was cold or if she's scare of the strange surrounding. I was a little surprise at her initial reaction because Ky-An never had a problem with the doctor's office. I can see Ai-Vy being one of those kids who cry as soon as they see the office though.

Even though I gave her some Tylenol before the visit, she still didn't do too well with her shots..the poor thing. I was playing peek-a-poo with her when she got her first shot. You can see the surprised look on her face and then she started bawling. She put her hands up wanting me to hold her and got mad that I wouldn't. I tried to calm her down and distract her for the second shot but had no luck. I am so glad I didn't let her go on with 4 shots. She would've been so upset and I am not sure if I can console her after that.

I always stay home for the day with my babies after their shots to comfort and hold them. I was suppose to massage where her shot and give her Tylenol to help her discomfort but she gagged and throw up each time I try to give her medicine. I finally was able to give her some at night when she was asleep. I basically gave her the dropper of medine then immediately follow it by a dropper of water to wash it down before she has a chance to gag or to spit it out. The next day one of her leg has a big knot in it where the shot was. My poor baby..it must be so sore for her. I massaged it all night and then asked the babysitter to do the same the next day and to give her Tylenol is she seem uncomfortable. Thank goodness the lump was gone the next day. Now I have to come back next week and do this all over again..ugh!

Ai-Vy's 4 months checkup and Ky-An's 2 year's

Things has been crazy busy at work. I just hosted a two-day training at work last week for the new Content Management system we are using so I was busy getting the training material together and creating a manual. It's basically me supporting over 100 staff at work and developing websites. It's so tiring when you are busy at work and at home. It feels like you have 2 full-time jobs and it leaves me stressed out most days. The only time I can relax is when I am holding Ai-Vy or playing with Ky-An. I force myself to slow down and enjoy the rare time with my kids during those times. I refuse to let work ruin the small amount of quality time I have with them.

Everyone is doing well. They both have a cold right now but they are very good about it. Ky-An just had his 2 years checkup and Ai-Vy had her 4 months. They both did very well on their shots. Ky-An got one and Ai-Vy had 3..poor thing. Ky-An cried only a little bit and Ai-Vy was good until her third shot. Poor thing just can't take it anymore. Hieu had to come to the doctor's visit to help me to handle both kids. Ky-An is now 30lbs 12 oz (75%) and 35" (75%) tall. For fun, the doctor double his height and said he'll probably be about 5'10 when he grows up. Hieu and I are happy if he gets to be that tall because Hieu is only 5'8.

Ai-Vy is 16lbs 12 oz (95%) and 25.5" (90%) long. She is still trying to catch up to big brother because he's at 19 pounds at this point. Ai-Vy drinks 7 7-oz bottles per day and I only pump about 5 bottles maximum. I have to supplement formula for her at night. She's been waking up about once a night to drink her milk. Sometimes she won't go back to sleep right away and I'd have to be up with her but most nights she's really good. Most days she come home tired and sleeping so we don't get to spend much time playing with her.

Ky-An:
  • Today as I put him in the carseat, I bumped my head on the dvd player. I pretend it hurt and starts pouting going "ow, owie". Ky-An looked at me, smile and asked "you okay". I smiled and said yes still rubbing my head. He grabbed my hand and give it a kiss. If I was really hurt, it would've melt all the pain away. :)
  • He just learned how to kiss with the kissing noise and loves doing it.
  • He is so affectionate with his little sister. He would get so happy whenever he sees her and he'll touch her and kisses her. It's very sweet to see. Last night Hieu put Ai-Vy next to him on the bed. He picked her up and Ky-An goes "em dau rui?" meaning where is little sis?
  • Mobility-wise, he can jump and walk backward.

  • He can feed himself and loves doing it. However, he 's a very picky eater lately. He will mostly only eat meat and soup such as Pho.

  • He can drink from a cup like a big boy.

  • He can sing the ABC song, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and Row Row Row Your Boat.

  • He can recognize shapes such as "sfare", "cir-kle", and "tri-ingle"

  • He can recognize colors such as "oh-range", "wred", "yeah-low", "purple", and "gr-win".

  • He can count 1-10 in English and Vietnamese..

  • He can now put words together to form short sentences.
  • His new obsession now is Thomas the Train and would be a zombie whenever we turn the dvd on for him.

Ai-Vy

  • She likes to sit and if you lay her down, you'll keep hearing grunts of her picking up her head and try to sit up.

  • She can recognize my voice and gets really happy whenever she sees me. Very cute.

  • She is teething so she'll gnaw on anything, especially her chubby hands.

  • She can be in the exersaucer now and would actually reach out to grab toys.

  • She is just now discovering her feet.

  • She is still a very difficult feeder and sleeper. I will have to give her the pacifier and swing/bounce her until she calms down. Then I yank out the pacifier really quick and replace it with the bottle. Only then will she settle down to go to sleep. I have to do it quickly like a magic trick or she'll have a tantrum.

Ai-Vy's Two Month Check-up and two shots

Ai-Vy is now 14 pounds, 2 ounces (95%), 22.5 inches long (50%), Head size (75%) The doctor is not very happy because he wants her to gain weight and height proportionally. Apparently she's not doing that because her height is only at 50% while her weight is at 95%. I am not too worry because Ky-An was the same. I think this is just before her growth spurt.

She received 2 Shots. It was suppose to be 4 but my doctor separates it out in 2 visits. I am glad because 4 shots at once is a bit much. She was fussy all day Saturday and can't sleep for longer than 1 hour. She also keep throwing up whenever I give her Tylenol. She won't let me hold her and didn't eat much. The only thing that would keep her semi-happy was in the swing...my poor baby. I remember how much my flu shot hurt so I can just imagine how much pain her chubby legs were in.

She was like that for a whole week and was better by Thursday. Well Friday is the day for her next two shots so it started all over again. She wouldn't eat much all week after her shots so I asked the nurse to weigh her and make sure she's not losing any weight. Well she didn't. In fact, she gained another 8 ounces in 1 week. LOL. Even the nurse was laughing and said to Ai-Vy "your mama was worry that you didn't eat enough but you just didn't want to eat huh."

First family outing

We had our first family outing today to take the kids to the doctor's office. Ky-An needed to get his chicken pox shot since he couldn't get it at one year because I was pregnant. They said sometimes the child can get sick after the shots and the virus can cause miscarriage or early birth. So now that I gave birth, he's due for his shot and Ai-Vy is there for her 2 weeks check-up because our pediatrician had no priveledge at the hospital I delivered at. He hasn't seen Ai-Vy since she was born and I feel better after he did an examination on her.

Everything went well with Ai-Vy, she's actually 7 pounds now!! That's a huge weight gain from when she was born. I was so happy because I was worry I didn't have enough milk for her. I was hoping she'll gain an ounce or two but didn't expect such a big increase. My sister said I must have good milk. I told her maybe it's just fattening! Her height is only 19 inches though, not the 19 3/4 inches they measured at the hospital. She's still petite but proportional. Her statistics were 25% all around. I think that's how Ky-An was too and then he shot up to 95% after 2 months. I hope it's the same for Ai-Vy. She was a good little baby and hardly cry when they examine her nor when they had to strip her. She did poop twice while she was there and they had to take her blood for the second part of the newborn screening.

Ky-An also did well. I brought his favorite book and he was pointing out all the animals when he got his shots. He was shocked at first and whined a bit. More whining and a little tear came out for the second shot but it's quickly over. He didn't wail and was a very good boy throughout the visit.

The doctor's visit cost us $40 co-pay! Ky-An didn't even get to see the doctor, he only saw the nurse for his shots. The 2 kids are in one time slot and are in one waiting room. I know that we have to pay for 2 kids but it's a shocker and I just want to gripe a little.

It took Hieu and I all morning to prepare and pack for the kids to go out. We tried to remember everything but still forgot the hot water to heat up Ai-Vy's formula. Hieu packed our big Sherpa diaper bag and it was still all cramped. We left the house at 10:45 for our 11:30 appointment but still arrive at the doctor's office late. It wasn't really our fault though, there was construction and traffic on the way. We called them and they said if we don't make it there by 11:45, we may have to reschedule for the next day. I dreaded it and tell Hieu to please try to make it because I do not want to get both kids ready again tomorrow. It's a lot of work and I got tired just thinking about it. Get them ready, dressed them, take turn get us ready, dressing ourselves, then pack the bag, and get the kids in the car. Whew!!! Luckily we made it in time and didn't have to reschedule. Thank goodness!

Doctor's Visit

I expected a normal visit today but got a little surprise. First of all the doctor was 1.5 hours behind so we grab some lunch and came back. She checked my cervix this time and it not fun at all!! She didn't check me at all with Ky-An so I am not sure why she would check me with Ai-Vy. Anyways, she said I am 2cm already and is effaced. She can feel the baby's head when she checked my cervix so she doesn't think I will make it until the 18th. That makes me kinda sad because I have so many things to do and am not ready for her to be here yet. I have a lot of things I still need to tie up at work and can't leave before I do. Lots of people are counting on me to get it done!

So instead of being excited, I am panicking because I am hoping to get everything done before Ai-Vy gets here. I guess I better finish packing my bags this weekend!

Doctor's visit

I wen to the doctor today and my weight is 130. That's 18 pounds gain total. Not too shabby. She said Ai-Vy is about 6 pounds 3 ounces now. That's a bit below average but she's happy with it. Everything else is normal..nothing new which is the way I like my doctor's visits.

Ai-Vy wiggles a lot and sometimes it hurt when she moves, especially if she's moving over my belly button or her whole body. She's good at night though, she would be really active at about 11:30 - 12 and then won't move all night until she hears her brother at 6 in the morning. That's surprising because Ky-An wiggled all night and won't let me sleep. I am hoping that means she will be a good little sleeper and not like her brother.

Above all, I hope she comes out healthy and chubby. :) Only about two weeks left and I just can't believe it.

Hieu took a really "flattering" picture of me resting on the couch. I usually look better, I promise!

Doctor's Visit

I just got back from seeing the nurse to get my blood pressure and urine checked. They didn't want me to go too long without a visit so I get to see the nurse even though my doctor is out-of-town. I've gained a total of 20 pounds so far. I am now 132 pounds and I started out at 112. Must be all those fast food I've been eating, and the sweets I eat to get myself to drink a glass of milk everyday..hehe. I hope to gain as little with this pregnancy as possible. It's starting to be uncomfortable sleeping at night but nothing I should be complaining about. I have to sleep on my side but my hip hurts if I lay on one side for a too long since I am putting so much weight on it. I wake up every morning with sore hips. I don't get much sleep at night that I don't even bother going to sleep until 12 - 12:30a.m. everyday. There's no point since I know I won't be comfortable anyway, may as well get stuff done. I tried sleeping on the rocking chair this morning but Ai-Vy didn't like it and was wiggling all around. In addition, my legs fell asleep after 30 minutes and my tailbone hurts. I'll just have to surrender to the fact that I am not going to be able to get sleep for a while...hehe.

I will be full-term next week!!! Yikes. They want me to come back every week now until I deliver. Gosh, time just doesn't stand still for you does it? I still haven't pack my bag yet. I think I've been procastinating because I don't want to make it a reality yet. I am still in denial, I know. I've been crazy at work because we have this big project we just started that I am responsible for. On top of that, I have 5 other projects they want me to complete before I have to go in 3 weeks. Basically everyone is trying to get me to do something before I have to leave. On top of that, I am trying to finish up a contracting project at home so it's been very hectic. Of course there are also my deals too..LOL. I am not ready for Ai-Vy to be here yet.

The other day I was laying in bed singing to Ky-An the song that I made up for him for bedtime. I started thinking about how I won't be able to do that for several days and how he would have a stranger putting him to sleep. I thought about whether he would cry for us or not understanding why we didn't come to pick him up at 5p.m. My heart breaks thinking how he would wait for Hieu to come at 5 p.m. except daddy never came. My mind starts to wander and thought if he think we abandoned him and whether or not he would be scare. My eyes start tearing up at these thoughts and there's a big lump in my throat. I think you can tell being apart from him is just going to kill me. I told Hieu I am hoping he will have so much fun that he won't even notice we were missing for several days. That would be so great!

Ky-An's 18 months visit

Ky-An had his 18th month check-up today and he now weighs 26 pounds, 12 ounces. at 70%. His height is 32 3/4 inches at 75% and his head is 19 1/4 inches at 75%. He has slipped down from his 90% and the pediatrician said it was normal. He said it's around this time that genetics take over and they grow according to their genes. I guess he's trying to hint that since Hieu and I are not 6 feet tall, he won't be growing much anymore..hehe.

He had to get 2 shots today and he did surprisingly well. I gave him some Tylenol before the shots and was distracting him while the nurse gave him his shots by singing "Row Row Row your boat" to him. He whined a bit after he felt the first shot then stop. Then he whined for a bit longer the for the second one but overall no crying. I was pleasantly surprised because I was expecting him to cry hysterically.

He hit all his milestone by walking up the stairs, saying more than 5 words, put more than one word together, trying to take off his pants, etc. He was also very good for the doctor. He didn't fuss and was busy playing with all the toys on the pediatrician's stethoscope. He loved the light-up duck that the doctor has and it makes the "quack quack" noise. I told Hoa all about it and she found it at Linen N' Things for him the next day. He just love that thing! Even the doctor was compliment on how comfortable he seem at the office and how good he is. I am so proud of my little man!

Doctor's Visit

I gained a total of 9 pounds so far. It's a quick visit today but everything still looks great! She is breech right now but she still has plenty of time to turn. Hieu asked the doctor if it matters the baby is breech since I am having a c-section anyway. It doesn't really matter but she still prefer the baby to be head-down. I guess less complications that way. She told me that I am slightly anemic from my last blood test for glucose (which I passed..yeah!!). She prescribed me some iron pills that I need to take opposite of my prenatals. For example, if I take my prenatals at night then I have to take these iron supplements during the day. I didn't ask why but I assume it has something to do with the absorption of the pills.

She is scheduling me for my c-section date the week of September 17-20th, so just a week early instead of 2 like with Ky-An. The nurse will call me back and let me know the exact date. That would be nice to know! I can't believe it's almost here, yikes!

I have to come back in 2 weeks to see the nurse for a blood pressure check. The doctor won't be in at that appointment but she doesn't want me to go too long without seeing me. Then she wants to see me again 2 weeks after that for an ultrasound (as if I don't have one with every appointment already..hehe.)

I am still feeling good. She's constantly moving and wiggling so that's a great sign. I am starting to feel some of the weight but nothing too bad. Two co-workers told me I look small for 29 weeks yesterday and that was a first for me. I usually get comments of how I am ready to pop at 6 months when I was pregnant with Lan Vy and Ky-An.

Doctor's Visit

I went in for my check-up today and got my glucose test. Even though the drink is yucky and the blood drawn is not fun, I don't see how people on the September '07 board would want to opt out of it. I think it's an important test to know. Anyways, I scheduled the first appointment of the day as usual thinking it would be less hectic at her office. I was wrong today, I didn't get to see her until 11 o' clock and my appointment was for 9:30 a.m. She apologized and informed me that she had 4 emergencies this morning..bleeding after bleeding. Even though I was frustrated I had to wait so long and it's not comfortable for me to sit at one place anymore, I am glad I am not an emergency. I will happily wait for that. I felt bad for those other women who my doctor said were bleeding. I hope everything is okay with their babies.

I think that's why my doctor loves us. :P We are very understanding when she has an emergency and is behind schedule. Other people just complain and give the staff a hard time like it's their fault. One time we had to wait 3 hours because there were complications with one of her deliveries. I am just glad that it's not us holding her up and if someone else has an emergency with their baby, by all means please take care of them before me. I would want her to take care of me first if something is wrong.

I've gained 7 pounds so far. My original weight is 115 and I am now 122. Can you believe I weighed 95 pounds at my wedding!!! I am not sure I'll ever be that again..boo hoo. Everything looks great and my doctor is very happy (especially with all the bleeding she saw all morning). Baby looks well and measuring great. She estimate her to be 1 pound 13 ounces now. Another boring appointment and I love it!
