I went in for my check-up today and got my glucose test. Even though the drink is yucky and the blood drawn is not fun, I don't see how people on the September '07 board would want to opt out of it. I think it's an important test to know. Anyways, I scheduled the first appointment of the day as usual thinking it would be less hectic at her office. I was wrong today, I didn't get to see her until 11 o' clock and my appointment was for 9:30 a.m. She apologized and informed me that she had 4 emergencies this morning..bleeding after bleeding. Even though I was frustrated I had to wait so long and it's not comfortable for me to sit at one place anymore, I am glad I am not an emergency. I will happily wait for that. I felt bad for those other women who my doctor said were bleeding. I hope everything is okay with their babies.
I think that's why my doctor loves us. :P We are very understanding when she has an emergency and is behind schedule. Other people just complain and give the staff a hard time like it's their fault. One time we had to wait 3 hours because there were complications with one of her deliveries. I am just glad that it's not us holding her up and if someone else has an emergency with their baby, by all means please take care of them before me. I would want her to take care of me first if something is wrong.
I've gained 7 pounds so far. My original weight is 115 and I am now 122. Can you believe I weighed 95 pounds at my wedding!!! I am not sure I'll ever be that again..boo hoo. Everything looks great and my doctor is very happy (especially with all the bleeding she saw all morning). Baby looks well and measuring great. She estimate her to be 1 pound 13 ounces now. Another boring appointment and I love it!
