I emailed to her and this is what I said:
This is the kind of ignorant remark that I expect from someone who is isolated and not from a public figure. Your refusal to apologize for your comment is especially irritating to me. I can forgive someone who made a mistake or was misquoted, but not someone who can't take responsibility for her error. I am a proud Republican and has been voting that way since I was 18. You made me ashamed to be one today and you can count on me being an advocate for your opponent if you are EVER up for any kind of re-election.
