Holiday pictures

Here are some pictures from Hieu's company party for the kids. We took my nephew with us and the poor guy was looking forward to the snow the entire time. Unfortunately the machine broke and he didn't get to play with it at all. They both had more fun last year than this year. This year it's warmer so it's definitely more crowded. On top of that, the event was during Ky-An's naptime and they haven't eat lunch so they were both cranky. Hieu and I were also stressed out so I think it rubbed off on them too.

We were only suppose to have him for the event and then drop him off at the babysitter's house. My sister had to work and she knew we have our hands full. We feel bad for him but we know our physical limitations and we can't watch all 3 kids.

Well we end up watching him the entire day anyway because as soon as Hieu pull up to his babysitter's driveway, he wailed and refused to go in. I knew I'll be busy with Ai-Vy so I told Hieu it's up to him what he wants to do. Who would have the heart to make him stay there so of course Hieu took him back home and we watched him until 8 p.m. when my sister got out of work. He's pretty good at our house but boy were we exhausted. Ky-An on the other hand had a blast. They really do adore each other.

Putting our double stroller to use:

Ai-Vy in her own stroller:

Poor girl didn't get to sleep for long though. It was too hot and the sun keep shining in her face through the panel on the canopy.

Ky-An was dancing on the street and then decide to sit on the curb while we were in line for the pony ride.

This picture was taken after a little adventure on the pony ride. I was in line with the 2 kids and Hieu took Ai-Vy to move the van closer as well as get them milk from the car. I thought it'll be better if they sit on the carriage instead of on the pony. Well I sat them up and was moving the stroller to a place where I can take pictures. As soon as I look up, I saw the carriage has been stopped and Ky-An clamboring and my nephew standing at the bottom. I ran over and check them out to find out they had fall from the seat. I felt so bad for them because it's a pretty hight fall but they didn't seem to be hurt and weren't crying. I think they were just a bit shaken up. Thank goodness they didn't fall out onto the parking lot or worst. So I sat with them the rest of the ride and the lady was nice enough to stop so I can get down and take a picture of them. By this time they were done with the carriage and the horses. In this nick of time, Hieu came back with Ai-Vy and ran up to grab the kids for this one picture.

You can see how high the bench is from the bottom rail in this picture. I kick myself for letting them go by themselves. I didn't think they would go that fast because the lady was walking with the horse the entire time. They must have stop abruptly and the kids lost balance. I should've known better though. :(
