Week of January 18

• Learned that Air Transportation is another way of getting from one place to another. 
• Learned that wind and water conditions affect air travel.
• Some forms of Air Transportation are airplanes, jets, hot air balloons, gliders, space shuttles, etc.

Language and Literacy/Mucho Mundo:

• Leaned “el piloto” for pilot, “helicoptero” for helicopters, “el avion” for plane, and “rapido” for fast. 
• Sang “going on Big Airplane”

Science and Technology:

• Make airplanes and took them outside and flew them.

Creative Arts and Expression:

• Enjoyed making airplanes.

Mathematics:

• Concept of high and low and order from highest to lowest.

Physical Development and Health:

• Bean bag toss during Thumbs Up.

Social-Emotional Development/Character Development:

• Talked about fair and unfair behaviors and feelings.
